The MoDeSt-Workshop’08 is try to encourage the following subjects:
    (1) Natural and synthesized layered nanoparticles (brucite, gibbssite, montmorillonite, hydrotalcite, aluminium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide….)
    (2) New progresses in POSS applied to polymeric composites
    (3) Advanced technology and characterization in surface modification of inorganic fillers
    (4) Thermal degradation and combustion behavior of nanocomposites
    (5) Nano-fillers and synergistic effect
    (6) Processing considerations
    (7) Applications of nano-fillers and composites to X- and P-free flame retardant systems
